Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts on one or more of the main topics of the conference, or topics related to the overall theme. (Topics)
Congress will consist of both oral and poster sections. Abstracts for oral and poster presentations should be prepared following the Template for abstracts and submitted by e-mail to the IWGLVV@nib.si until April 15th, 2008. Please indicate whether you wish to contribute with an oral or poster presentation. Abstracts for oral presentations will be selected by the scientific committee and authors will be notified about their selection until May 15th, 2008.
Abstracts will be published in the Book of abstracts only if the registration is completed.
Presentations will be held using the Microsoft PowerPoint software on Windows XP. Please contact the IWGLVV contact person if you need special arrangements for your presentation.
Please bring your presentation on the USB key or on the CD.
Planned time for a contributed talk is 20 minutes, including introduction and discussion, so prepare your talks accordingly (upper limit of 15 min is recommended). Invited speakers have 45 minutes for a talk, including introduction and discussion.
Poster board size is 90 cm (W) x 120 cm (H). Mounting material will be provided. Posters should be mounted and dismantled as indicated in the final program.
